The Fort Lee Community Center buzzed with energy on Sunday, June 9th, 2024, as over 250 participants gathered for the annual Fort Lee Running for Our Youth 5K. Despite the blustery weather and intermittent rain, the spirit of the runners and supporters was undampened, making for an exciting and memorable race.

For the third consecutive year, Elson Smajlaj proved his prowess by securing the overall victory with an impressive time of 18:10. In the women's division, Ruiyao Sun delivered an outstanding performance, finishing first with a time of 21:10. Sun's determination and speed were evident as she conquered the course, earning well-deserved applause from her fellow participants and spectators.
