Busy couple of weeks!

Between October 14th and October 21st, Rock Race Timing timed 4 different races. On 10/14, participants braved the rain at the Ringwood PBA 5k and the Grace-In-Motion 5k. Between the two races, nearly 500 people competed despite heavy rain throughout the morning.

Rain continued the next weekend during the 10th Annual Heroes for Children 5K and Family Fun Run/Walk at the South Mountain Reservoir in West Orange and the Superhero 5k in Old Tappan. All of these races raise thousands of dollars for charitable organizations that make a real difference in their communities. Those who compete not only support their own athletic journeys, but also help those in need. It can be difficult to run in tough conditions, but runners are nothing if not TOUGH!

Things ramp up again in a couple weeks, starting on November 5th with the HERO 5k at Bergen Community College. Again, a great opportunity to help out with a worth mission. Best of all, looks like we are going to get beautiful weather! Hope to see you there!
